Delighted.....
" I should have written last month to tell you once again how delighted I am with the transformation that you effected on my teeth. The Lingual brace achieved what I had thought impossible at my age – perfectly straight top teeth! For twenty years I have been meaning to do something about them, but it wasn't until my 4 year old granddaughter asked 'granny, why are your teeth crooked?', that I finally made up my mind.
You were kind enough not to even hint that I might be a little overage for the treatment and at every stage provided encouragement to continue. I can't say that there weren't moments, especially at the very beginning, when I wondered what I had embarked on. It wasn't always easy, but thanks to the imaginative solutions, the discomfort was bearable. Now that it is all over, I look in the mirror every day (actually more than once) and am thrilled at what I see. I can smile in photographs again!

Major Improvement.....
" I had thought about having braces since my early twenties, as my teeth were very overcrowded and I had always been self-conscious of this. I eventually made an appointment at Cotswold Orthodontics and after my initial consultation decided to have a lingual brace fitted to my top teeth and a traditional brace with tooth coloured blocks on my lower teeth. I think the reason I have put it off for so long is that I work in a customer services environment.
I also thought I was too old to wear a brace! But my orthodontist Kate talked me through all the different options that would be suitable for me and I was really surprised at what was available.
The lingual brace did take a bit of getting used to, but this was something I was expecting. As advised I had to avoid certain hard foods straight away. As I adjusted to the brace I found I could eat most foods I enjoyed.

The great thing I found about the lingual brace is that I could see the results within a couple of months. Friends and work colleagues noticed the difference, in fact the thing that put me off having a brace initially (people seeing it) didn't bother me because nobody really noticed I was wearing one.
I could see a major improvement in my teeth. I am really pleased with the results and my only regret is that I put off having my teeth straightened for so long. "........... KO
